God is not unrighteous to forget our works and labor of love, which we have shown toward His name, we have ministered to the saints, we continue to minister; and we desire that everyone show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end!

Just to say I pray each and every day for all the men and women who are fighting to keep me and my family safe.
My husband was a Viet Nam Vet, lost his life at home at the tender age of 59. He too was an advocate for every branch of the military. God bless the families and friends who are waiting for the safe return of their loved ones

My good friend Jimmy Aberilli fell down a flight of stairs Sunday night, July 25th 2010....He was a Nam vet. His neck is broke and he suffered a brain hemmorage. Nam couldn't kill him and I don't think this will either. He loves all his mates, living and dead, never forgot a one of them. And now I hope from above they will love and help him in his time of need! Come on Lord,...He's a SEAL for Gods Sake!....Ya got any UDT certified angels up there??.....Because he needs one now!...God I hope so.......

Don't care what branche of the military you were in.....one way or the other, we all were connected. And even though our situations seem individual,...we all participated in the final goal,.....keeping our comrades safe. After everything was said and done,..in combat,.we are looking out for our mates and our unit.....completing the mission seems to just happen as long as we watch out for each other....I love you all,....I weep for you all.......I hope God was a combat soldier.

for all the families who paid the ultimate for thier countries and the men and women who have died fighting for this country, especially for the family and SGM Cook who on christmas eve died for this country. i ask that god watch over his family and hold on to the soldier and who i considered a father figure. sgm cook was a soldier that led by example and yet had the abilitie to show compassion when it was needed. i know that you are in heaven now helping the lord now. i am grateful for all that i had learned from you "Top". you made me a damn good soldier and an even better leader. never settling for anything and striving harder each day to be better than i was the day prior. i love you and am at ease knowing now that you are among the angels.
lord hold him now he has finally reached a time and place of pease.
with deepest appreciation for everything

My nephew Kyle Ka'eo Fernandez ultimately gave his life for us on October 14, 2004 while on patrol in Afghanistan. It has been six long years and many, many tears later but my "braddah" you will remain in my heart forever. I often find myself alone, staring into the sky and wonering what if? What if you made it home for the "Inu"? The "Why's" have diminished as I finally undertand your commitment, your dedication and your responsibility to your family. Although the Army started out as just a "job", I truly believe it ended as an honorable, gracious and noble duty. Aloha wau ia'oe..."Until we meet again".

I would like to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart and I send out my prayers to all the famlies that have lost a loved one to this or any conflict.
As I stood the other day in Arlington National Cemetery looking out over the sea of head stones I remembered something that General Patton had said, “It is foolish and wrong to morn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.” Everyday I try to remember to take time to thank God for those men and women who have given all so that I can live in a free country.
God bless our troops and may we never forget what they did for us.
