Patients are first evaluated to determine the level of neuropathy present. Treatments are scheduled twice per week for two weeks, patients are then re-evaluated to determine the degree of improvement.

“I provided infrared light therapy to my patients in 2004 with almost 80 percent showed improvement,” Del Prince said. “The technology was just coming out and the cost of home units were very expensive, but now with our program we hope to provide affordable infrared light therapy to those in need.”

Eligible participants for this program must be diabetic and under the care of a physician. For more information, call Keisel Physical Therapy at 440-998-7505.
